Payment Policy:

For 'drop in only' classes, I appreciate 24 hours' notice of cancellation.  If less notice is given (except in exceptional circumstances), the full fee is payable.

For weekday classes, you have the option of 'dropping in' or paying for a block of 5 classes @ £10 per class - this works out as follows:

If you attend all 5 classes, you will be paying for 7.5 hours' yoga @ just under £7 per hour; if you attend 4 classes you will be paying £8.30 per hour; if you attend 3 you will be paying £11 per hour and if you know that you will only be able to attend 2 classes, it is best to pay the 'drop in' fee of £12.  [Please be aware that many teachers require you to join for up to 15 weeks].

For my part, running a yoga class is more than just the act of taking the class. There are factors to be considered such as fees for hall hire, insurance, website fees, advertising, class administration and continuous professional development; additionally, I put a lot of planning into my lessons to keep them varied and interesting and to ensure that the knowledge I pass on to you is accurate. Commitment to class is appreciated and this helps it to stay viable.

I have been practising and studying yoga for 36 years and have attended many classes and some very good courses run by excellent teachers (details on this website).  I gladly spend a lot of time revising and researching the various topics which I then distil into a 90 minute class.

Occasional attendance at class is discouraged.  I encourage regular attendance so that progress can be made - the more often you attend, the more you will get out of the yoga - not just during class - the benefits will stay with you.  Payment options are online payment or cash.  

If I need to cancel a class for any reason, I will make up the class on another date.

You will gain a lot more benefit from the classes if you can attend regularly because yoga is a progressive activity, as is the understanding of its limitless possibilities.
